Moving Forward with Game On Development

The specific plans for Game On, a recreational complex being developed in Tega Cay, were a major topic at the most recent Planning Commission meeting. The Commission detailed the possibility of adding an 8-acre parcel to the residential section. As a future City Council member, I will keep you updated of any possible changes to Tega Cay’s landscape.

Pennies for Progress on the Ballot

In addition to electing City Council members and a Mayor, you will also get to have a say on Pennies for Progress on Nov. 7.  Pennies for Progress is a program that gives 1% of sales tax back to fix the roads.

Touring the Tega Cay Fire Station

Did you know that Tega Cay’s fire station helps reduce your homeowner’s insurance? It’s all because of the elite quality rating the staff has earned. This just gives you one more reason to thank our firefighters when you see them in our neighborhood.

Investing in the Tega Cay Police

The Tega Cay Police Officers do a great job of supporting our community with events like Camp Cadet and National Night Out. Now it’s our turn to support them. To keep our city safe and beautiful, we need to invest more into the Police Department’s future. I’m committed to do just that when you elect me to Tega Cay City Council.

Trash Talk on Hubert Graham

Have you ever noticed that junkyard on Hubert Graham Parkway?  I sure have. It will take cooperation between Tega Cay and other municipalities to remove it. These are the important relationships I want to strengthen when I become your next City Council Member.

Soccer Saturdays

We all enjoy college football, but soccer Saturdays are just as important in the Overman house. My son Gavin can’t get enough of game day and my 2-year old daughter Peyton is playing on her first team this season. My husband Danny also sports a jersey, returning as a youth soccer coach this year. It has been a wonderful opportunity for us to meet young families in the neighborhood and to see the great service that Tega Cay Parks and Recreation provides.

What is PARD? Heather Is in the Know.

PARD is the reasons why Tega Cay has some great park benches. And it’s also an example of a great relationship that Tega Cay needs to continue building.
